1. Hi kim, ive been struggling with bingeing/ purging recently and i know its so so so wrong but i cant seem to stop (at least once a week) what were some key things that made you stop if you struggled with this

  2. Proud of you for shutting ED up!!!!! So happy you did that. I need to hear you say that to shut it off in MY head (sorry – I use your strength for my own struggles). πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘ŠπŸ»

  4. The problem about food with social media is that if you didn’t post about it, you’re trying to hide something. So I think everyone assumes that what you don’t post would insinuate calorie restriction or even starvation, which is so sad because there are too many people who are not genuine or honest about what they eat online! πŸ™„ The great thing is that you tell yourself that you can eat donuts and treats without feeling guilty at allβ€”they’re not inherently bad for you! I hoped you enjoy them while they lasted! πŸ’“
But anyhow, the pancakes look great! I generally don’t like making pancakes often because I have way too much impatience. I am slowly getting back into it though. LOL, and I wear those sandals like that a lot too!!

  5. Me and Lee are the same way when we get home from a trip, we unpack everything like Tanzanian devils lol. And I try to do the floors when Luke is asleep because if he sees them wet he tries to suck on it πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

  6. In my opinion, people that watch your channel should be respectful of you by not mentioning food/weight or asking for macros/calories. Maybe setting a precedent that you won't respond to macro/calorie inquiries (mentioned on your other video) would take the pressure off you from feeling any sense of obligation to respond? It's hard to know what helps/hurts people and that will differ depending on the day/moment, but I find advocating for what we need can be empowering and typically is challenging for anyone with an eating disorder. Also, who cares if people have fat/get fat? (Question for us all, not picking on your comments AT ALL!) This fear we have can be very harmful for people that actually do struggle with their weight and it reinforces the stigma against them. There's a wonderful documentary called Fattitude that I am grateful to have seen twice which helped me to better understand where my own fears of weight gain come from and how damaging our society is for anyone that is in a bigger body. I am a tremendous work in progress due to the length of time (and living in the 90s) that these thoughts have existed, but working to really get at the core of what makes us fear things and leaning into the uncomfortable emotions is important to long term changes. I think Daphne talks about that concept well.

  7. As long as you acknowledged the problem, I don't think you failed!! You'll get there. I hate when people make comments ab food like that though. People always say things like that about my food and it's so rude. I don't know if I could do that bone broth, haha!! Glad you had a productive day πŸ™‚

  8. You had an extremely productive day! I enjoy seeing the behind the scenes of food photography. Though the clean up from the aftermath seems to be similar to how I feel after baking or cooking πŸ˜‚πŸ˜…πŸ˜” I ending grabbing so many dishes to use during the process, the pile in the sink just builds up!
