Vlogmas 2018 | Bake With Me

Come bake with me! I did some holiday baking earlier this week with two hits and a miss. Recipes linked below. Thanks for watching 🙂 Jen’s Ultimate Christmas …

  1. "Expectations vs reality"….."vertically challenged"….."maybe I should try it just for science"…….I don't think I have EVER laughed this hard while watching one of your videos. I didn't get the chance to watch this one during vlogmas. So funny Jen.

  2. Jen, I've been with you on and off since you were sitting down showing your plastic zip folders with the stuff you carried around in them… I am seeing such a transformation; you're so "chill" now compared to then. :0)

Merry Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year to you and your family.

  3. I have been watching your videos since I was 13 or 14. I'm 18 now. I feel like even tho I'm changing so much during my teenage years, your videos have been always in my journey. Thank you so so much. I aspire to be such a good mom and wife.

  4. my family makes the same round simple cookies with the powdered sugar, but instead of putting the sugar on when they're very hot out of the oven, we wait until they're completely cool, like put them outside in freezing weather to cool, before we roll them in powdered sugar in a big bowl, and the sugar sticks like a charm, but they look aesthetically a lot better than when the sugar kind of melts on the hot cookies. try cooling some of the cookies completely next time and see if you like it better!

  5. HI Jen loving vlogmas with you!! I make those same little walnut cookies too! My recipe book calls them Russian Teacakes. My family loves them and I make them every year! Once the cookies are cool or I'm gonna put them out, I sprinkle them with more confectionery sugar from a little shaker can. Enjoy!! Merry Christmas to you and your family<3

  6. Jen, loving vlogmas 😊 Have you ever had Cathedral Cookies? One of my childhood favorites. I haven't tried the version with coconut….but the regular ones are usually a hit with kids 😀 If you make please share ❤️ Merry Christmas 🎄

  7. The Gingerbread reminds me of a very funny story. When I was little my cousin And best friend had an older brother and a dog. Well he never ever took that dog out to go potty it was always me and my best friend. So one Christmas we had been really fed up with him and we were making gingerbread cookies. We made a whole bunch of dog poop looking cookies and didn’t bake them. We placed them all around the house. So when he got home from going out with his friends, he stepped in one of them! He started yelling, hooting and hollering..he didn’t realize it was cookie dough! He then proceeded to pick up all of the poop around the house. He never smelled the gingerbread and it was hilarious… I still giggle about it!

  8. Loved this video, Jen! I loved when you were spooning the flour into the mixing bowl and explained what would happen if the mixer is turned up too high!!! The first time I used my mixer, I did just that—had it turned up waaaaay too high and it shot cookie dough all over my kitchen—so much so that there wasn’t enough dough to salvage, in the mixing bowl, to make any cookies!!! Thanks, Jen!
